MCI Dublin shortlisted in Chambers Ireland CSR Awards for its work with Irish Autism Action

2nd July 2010

MCI Dublin is delighted to have been shortlisted in the Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards 2010 for its work with Irish Autism Action (IAA). The CSR Awards recognise the work being carried out by companies in Ireland which improves the lives of their employees and enhances the civic environment in which they operate.

MCI Dublin has been shortlisted within the SME category for its work with IAA, its charity of choice in Ireland. Over the past four years MCI Dublin has aided IAA in raising over €1,000,000 through supporting it in the organisation of several annual high profile events including the Keith Duffy Masquerade Ball, The Keith Duffy Golf Classic and the IAA Race Day. MCI Dublin has provided event management expertise and onsite event operations free of charge for these events and played a valuable role in making the Keith Duffy Masquerade Ball one of the most high profile events in the Irish social calendar.

Commenting on the awards, Patrick Delaney, Managing Director at MCI Dublin said ‘The MCI Dublin team is delighted to be shortlisted in the Chambers Ireland CSR Awards this year again. The Awards offer the Irish business community a unique opportunity to promote their efforts in CSR and gain recognition for best practise so we are extremely proud to have made the shortlist.’

The Chambers Ireland CSR Awards will be presented for a total of seven categories at a gala awards ceremony on September 16th in the Burlington hotel.
